I’ll make a version that pastes straight into a WordPress page. WordPress’s Media Library blocks .html uploads by default, so the usual way is to paste it into a **Custom HTML** block. That means its styles need to stay contained so they don’t clash with your theme.The WordPress version is ready, and I also saved it to your Airboat folder as `airboat-signal-map-wordpress.html`.
**To add it to a page:**
1. Open the file in Notepad, press Ctrl+A to select everything, and copy it.
2. In the WordPress page editor, add a **Custom HTML** block and paste it in.
3. Preview the page, then publish.
**Why it works this way:** WordPress doesn’t let you upload .html files to the Media Library by default, so pasting it is the easy route. I set this version up to fit inside a page: all of its styles stay inside the map, so they won’t change your theme, and your theme won’t break the map. I tested it inside a page with deliberately clashing theme styles and it held up. I also added a Full screen button. The T, G and W keyboard shortcuts only work while the mouse is over the map, so they won’t interfere with the rest of the site.
**Before you publish, keep the page private.** The map shows internal information to anyone who can open the page. That includes open issues, the past hack cleanup on airboatineverglades.com, hosting details, the billing question with Javier and the 404 on evergladesgodfather.com. In WordPress, set the page’s visibility to **Private** or **Password protected** under Page settings → Status & visibility.
